ANCIIENTS Signs With SEASON OF MIST

November 21, 2012

Season Of Mist has announced the signing of Vancouver metallers ANCIIENTS. The band has finished mastering its debut album for a 2013 release. The as-yet-untitled CD sees the quartet forging together smoldering apocalyptic riffs, classic hard rock influences and unforgettable vocal melodies with an interplay praising both the natural and occult.

Regarding the signing, ANCIIENTS said in a statement: "We are honored to have Season Of Mist release our debut. The fact that they chose us and believe in us means the world. We are proud to represent them and have them representing us as artists, and look forward to working with them for years to come."

Formed in 2010, ANCIIENTS quickly tookj the Vancouver scene by storm. In its short existence, the band has already shared the stage with such acts as PIG DESTROYER, SKELETONWITCH, MANILLA ROAD, 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, BORIS and HIGH ON FIRE, and been invited to perform at the prestigious Sled Island and Noctis festivals.

ANCIIENTS' previous release, the "Snakebeard" seven-inch single — featuring the tracks "Humanist" and "Built To Die" — can be streamed below.

ANCIIENTS is:

Kenny Cook - Lead Guitar, Vocals
Chris Dyck - Guitar, Vocals
