ANCIENT: 'Night Visit' Video Posted Online

May 18, 2004

A "TV edit" of ANCIENT's video for the track "Night Visit" has been made available for download at this location (18 MB).

"Night Visit" is the title track of the Norwegian black metal band's sixth album, due on June 1 through Metal Blade Records.

The follow-up to 2001's "Proxima Centauri" was recorded at Mirage and Alpha-Omega studios and was mixed at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Fredrik Nordström (HAMMERFALL, IN FLAMES, DIMMU BORGIR, SPIRITUAL BEGGARS, etc.). Mastering was done at Sterling Sound in New York City. A special limited edition of the album will be released including an uncensored version of the "Night Visit" video.

The lineup on the album is the same as that on "Proxima Centauri" apart from Deadly Kristin, who is no longer in the band due to "practical reasons" (she is living in Sweden at the moment). Former ANCIENT singer Kaiaphas makes a guest appearance on one track on the CD.
