ANCIENT CREATION Pulls Out Of KANSAS CITY POWER METAL FEST And MIDWEST METAL ANTHEM

August 3, 2008

Missouri-based traditional metal band ANCIENT CREATION has issued the following update:

"Due to unfortunate family medical problems, ANCIENT CREATION guitarist Jason Johnson had to relocate to be with his parents in Texas. We wish him the best of luck and hope that things will only get better for him and his family. This leaving us with only Peter Nisenkier to play all the guitar tracks we feel that we would unfortunately have to cancel our appearance at the Kansas City Power Metal Fest and the Midwest Metal Anthem in Chicago. We are very disappointed to do this as we were so looking forward to sharing the stage with MANILLA ROAD in our hometown and then playing and seeing all our fans and friends in Chicago. But things go on as usual as we just finished writing the songs for our second release for Melissa Records and begin recording here real soon. We are going to be working with a bad-ass producer this time and this will be a killer follow-up to 'Evolution Bound'. We should have it out by February or March of 2009. But now we are on the lookout for a new guitarist. Info on what we are looking for will be posted on our page at www.ancientcreation.net or you can contact Steve at [email protected] or Mike at [email protected]."

ANCIENT CREATION's debut album, "Evolution Bound", was released in November via Melissa Records. The CD contains nine tracks of the finest technical power metal, featuring lots of dual lead guitars and great melodies. Lyrics tackle dark fantasy themes. Artwork and booklet design were handled by Jan Yrlund at Darkgrove Design, also responsible for album covers for SEVENTH CALLING, TÝR and a host of others. Mr. Yrlund re-designed the official MANOWAR web site as well.
