Finnish metallers AMORPHIS have been confirmed for the Pellavarock festival, set to take place August 11 in Lammi, Finland. More bands will be announced soon.AMORPHIS entered Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland last month to begin recording its new album for a late spring/early summer release. Mixing duties will be handled by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) late February at Finnvox studios. AMORPHIS' latest album, "Eclipse", was issued in a limited vinyl edition in a deluxe gatefold sleeve by Black Lodge Records under worldwide license from Nuclear Blast Records. The follow-up to 2003's "Far from the Sun" was recorded at Sonic Pump studios with engineer Nino Laurenne (THUNDERSTONE). The production duties were handled by the band and Marco Hietala (NIGHTWISH) for vocals. The mixing was taken care of by Karmila (who previously worked with the group on their "Am Universum" CD) at Finnvox in Helsinki.
