AMORAL Part Ways With MOONSORROW Bassist

May 5, 2004

Finnish melodic death metallers AMORAL have parted ways with bassist Ville Sorvali. "Ville is simply too busy with MOONSORROW, his work and studies, and can't give the 100% needed in this band anymore," the group write on their web site. "Ville told us about leaving already in the beginning of the year, but promised to play all gigs until the end of March. He also agreed to help in the future if needed.

"The band has been practicing with a new bass player, who'll be playing the upcoming gigs, for a while now. If everything works out, our search for a new band member will end before it even started..."

AMORAL's debut album, "Wound Creations", is scheduled for release on May 17 through Rage of Achilles Records. "Wound Creations" was recorded at Sonic Pump Studios and was mastered by Mika Jussila at Finnvox studios in Helsinki. An MP3 sample of the track "Solvent" can be downloaded at this location.
