Sweden's AMON AMARTH have completed seven new tracks for their forthcoming CD and have ideas for at least two more, according to an update posted at the band's official web site. The group hope to lay down 10-11 songs for the next album, which is tentatively scheduled to be recorded at Berno Studios in Malmo, Sweden immediately after the band's appearance at Wacken Open Air festival in early August. Currently untitled, the forthcoming CD will include the following cuts, among others: "Bloodshed", "…And Soon The World Will Cease To Be" and "Vs. The World". A late 2002 release through Metal Blade Records is expected.
