AMERICAN HERITAGE Sign To TRANSLATION LOSS RECORDS

May 21, 2006

Heralded Chicago, IL trio AMERICAN HERITAGE has signed to Philadelphia independent record label Translation Loss. The band will issue their new album, "Millenarian", this September.

AMERICAN HERITAGE deliver uncompromising and unconventional heavy music that seamlessly blends crushing, punishing riffs, dizzying composition and pummeling rhythms and structures. Formed in Chicago in 1997, the band's unique amalgamation of instrumental metal, noise and punk quickly gained both the attention and respect of the underground heavy music scene(s). Vocals were welcomed into the AMERICAN HERITAGE aesthetic for the first time on the band's critically acclaimed 2003 spilt 7" with like-minded heavy hitters MASTODON.

Recorded and mixed at Chicago's Volume Studios (BUZZOVEN, PELICAN, BURIED AT SEA, SWEET COBRA) by Sanford Parker and AMERICAN HERITAGE and mastered by Scott Hull (THE BLACK DALHIA MURDER, ZOMBI, THE ACCUSED) at Visceral Sound, "Millenarian" delivers a heavyweight amalgam of technical prowess and focused power. The final track listing for 'Millenarian" is:

01. Brootal: Axes of Evil
02. Toilet Paper and Leotards
03. It's Like...
04. Peckerwood
05. Way to Go Cowboy
06. Spina Bifida
07. Piss Engine

The titanic lead track, "Brootal: Axes of Evil", has been uploaded to the "media" section of the Translation Loss Records web site and can also be accessed by clicking here.
