AMERICAN HEARTBREAK To Support NEW YORK DOLLS In San Francisco

September 24, 2004

San Francisco-based rockers AMERICAN HEARTBREAK, featuring ex-JETBOY guitarist Billy Rowe and former EXODUS bassist Mike Butler, will be opening for the NEW YORK DOLLS at SF's famed Fillmore Auditorium on Sunday, Oct. 3rd. The DOLLS have added former JETBOY bassist Sam Yaffa (recently seen gigging with JOAN JETT, also formerly with HANOI ROCKS) to the fold, replacing the late Arthur Kane. Tickets for the show are still available by calling 415.421.TIXS, at bgp.com or any Ticketmaster outlet.

AMERICAN HEARTBREAK have a limited-edition double CD due out in Europe on November 8 via the People Like You label. The set consists of their previously released "Postcards From Hell" studio disc and the "You Will Not Be Getting Paid" combined live/acoustic/studio tracks disc released last year. The band then plans to hit Europe for the fourth time for a short 2-3 week tour kicking off January 6 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. Further dates will be announced soon. AMERICAN HEARTBREAK have also changed drummers yet again, as Johnny Cruz (SAMIAM) has been replaced by Paul Scuvuzzo of local punk rockers BOTTLES AND SKULLS.
