Finnish female-fronted symphonic metallers AMBERIAN DAWN have inked a deal with Spinefarm Records. The band's third album, "End Of Eden", will be released on October 20.
According to songwriter Tuomas Seppälä, the group's new CD will be heavier than its predecessors, with a bigger, more polymorphic sound."
"End Of Eden" will feature a guest appearance by keyboardist Jens Johansson (STRATOVARIUS, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN).
Seppälä, who has played the keyboards in the studio on the band's albums, in 2009 became the group's full-time keyboardist. The new AMBERIAN DAWN axeman is Emil Pohjalainen, who is described as "a talented shredder from Finland."
AMBERIAN DAWN's second album, "The Clouds of Northland Thunder" was released in Europe on June 29, 2009 via Ascendance Records.
AMBERIAN DAWN last year completed a European tour as the support band for EPICA. Also appearing on the bill was SONS OF SEASONS, the new progressive/symphonic metal band led by keyboardist/guitarist Oliver Palotai (KAMELOT, DORO).
