ALTARIA To Begin Mixing Sophomore Album

February 3, 2004

Finnish melodic metallers ALTARIA will begin mixing their sophomore album, "Divinity", on February 16 at Tico Tico Studio (SONATA ARCTICA, SENTENCED, FOR MY PAIN…, etc.). A late May release through AOR Heaven sub-label Metal Heaven Records is expected.

The first limited edition of the album will be available as digipack, including one bonus track — a cover version of ACCEPT's classic "Balls To The Wall". A high-profile "guest singer" for this track will be announced soon, according to the band's web site.

ALTARIA, who recently parted ways with NIGHTWISH guitarist Emppu Vuorinen, will continue as four-piece, with the addition of a second guitarist (Petri Aho, formerly of BLINDSIDE) for forthcoming live shows.
