ALICE COOPER: No ERIC SINGER For U.K. Tour?

According to a post at SickthingsUK, an unconfirmed report at KissKollector.com suggests that drummer Eric Singer will not be available to tour with ALICE COOPER for his November U.K. dates. No further information is currently available.

As previously reported, ALICE COOPER drummer Tommy Clufetos has joined ROB ZOMBIE's touring lineup for this year's Ozzfest. Joining Cluefetos and Zombie in the new formation will be former MARILYN MANSON guitarist John 5 and bassist Rob "Blasko" Nicholson.

Clufetos has reportedly laid down the drum tracks for the new ALICE COOPER album, "Dirty Diamonds", which is projected for a June release. The CD, which is said to be a continuation of the more organic approach found on Cooper's last effort, "The Eyes of Alice Cooper", was overseen by Steve Lindsey, who co-produced Cooper's 2004 duet with rapper XZIBIT, "Stand" (off the official Olympics Games album, "Unity") and has worked with Elton John, Luther Vandross and Leonard Cohen.
