ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO's West Coast Dates With RODRIGO Y GABRIELA Cancelled

September 9, 2007

ALEX SKOLNICK TRIO's (the experimental band led by TESTAMENT/ex-SAVATAGE guitarist Alex Skolnick) previously announced West Coast dates with the guitar duo RODRIGO Y GABRIELA have been cancelled. According to a posting on RODRIGO Y GABRIELA's web site, "Gabriela is suffering from exhaustion after a hectic summer/fall tour schedule and is left with no choice but to cancel the remaining shows in September. Advice from doctors is to take a few weeks off to relax so she can build up her strength. Gabriela's high-energy performances means that she has to be in top physical health to perform to the levels people expect and that she enjoys. Gabriela will be taking a month off to get back in shape for the October tour."

Commented Skolnick: "First of all, we wish Gab a speedy recovery and hope she feels better. She's a beautiful soul and brilliant musician and we want her healthy! We're grateful to her and Rodrigo for the opportunity to play with them and look forward to resuming our tour with them in October on the East Coast. The West Coast dates will be made up in the future and we plan to be there, schedule permitting."

The affected dates are as follows:

Sep. 07 - The Marquee, Tempe, AZ
Sep. 08 - Rialto Theatre, Tucson, AZ
Sep. 12 - Canes, San Diego, CA
Sep. 13 - Grove of Anaheim, Anaheim, CA
