AGNOSTIC FRONT Recruits Former LEEWAY Drummer

March 17, 2009

The Godfathers of New York hardcore, AGNOSTIC FRONT, have announced the addition of drummer Pokey Mo (formerly of the legendary hardcore/metal crossover band LEEWAY) to the group's ranks. "The band is extremely happy to welcome Pokey to the fold," exclaimed AGNOSTIC FRONT vocalist Roger Miret. "He's a pro and we look forward to having him as a part of the band!"

AGNOSTIC FRONT's final tour in the U.S. in support of "Warriors" will take place April 1-12, with support from RUINER. They will return to Europe this summer and to South America in the fall for a tour with MADBALL.

HardTimes.ca conducted an interview with vocalist Roger Miret and guitarist Vinny Stigma of AGNOSTIC FRONT when they played Les Foufounes Electriques in Montreal, Quebec, Canada with THE CARRIER on November 18, 2008. Watch the 16-minute chat below.

"Warriors" was released in North America on November 6, 2007 via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was produced by MADBALL/HAZEN STREET frontman Freddy Cricien, who also happens to be AGNOSTIC FRONT vocalist Roger Miret's younger brother. The engineering duties were handled by Zeuss at Planet Z in Hadley, Massachusetts.
