AFTER ALL Complete Work On New Album

May 19, 2004

On May 14, Begium's AFTER ALL completed the recording of the their fifth full-length album, "The Vermin Breed". The CD is set for release this fall.

Like its predecessor, "Mercury Rising", "The Vermin Breed" was recorded and mixed by veteran producer Harris Johns at his Spiderhouse Studio in Berlin, Germany. Harris is best known for producing classic bands such as VOIVOD, HELLOWEEN and KREATOR. More recently he worked on DVD recordings for SLIPKNOT and SODOM.

"The Vermin Breed" will contain nine new tracks and some bonus material. Two of the songs — "Reasonable Doubt" and "Downward" — were already presented live several times, during last year's European touring campaigns with ANTHRAX and OVERKILL. Check out pictures of the recording sessions here.

In other news, AFTER ALL and U.S. power metallers SEVEN WITCHES will join forces for a short run of two shows in Belgium and Holland on June 24 and 26. SEVEN WITCHES will play an extra show in Belgium on Sunday, June 27, at the Graspop Metal Meeting, with JUDAS PRIEST headlining. AFTER ALL's Kevin Strubbe will be filling in on drums for SEVEN WITCHES during these three live dates.

Also on the AFTER ALL front, the band have been confirmed for this year's Dynamo Open Air Pre-Party, to be held on June 4 at the Effenaar in Eindhoven, Holland. The event is headlined by legendary U.S. metal outfit AGENT STEEL. Also appearing are SHADOWS FALL.
