ADAMANTRA: Another Song Posted Online

April 28, 2008

Finnish progressive metallers ADAMANTRA have posted the song "Beyond Disillusions" on their MySpace page. The track comes off the group's debut album, which is currently being mixed by Mikko Mustonen (best known for his work with NORTHERN KINGS, a band consisting of members of NIGHTWISH and SONATA ARCTICA, among other groups).

In other news, ADAMANTRA has parted ways with guitarist Tommi Ahtila and has added keyboardist Risto Kupiainen, who also played on the forthcoming CD.

The band has received rave reviews in Finland for its three-song album promo, which was also chosen as the "Demo of the Month" in Soundi, the influential Finnish rock monthly.

ADAMANTRA is still looking for a suitable record label to release the CD.

According to ADAMANTRA's official bio, the group's influences include the progressive metal greats SYMPHONY X, DREAM THEATER and SHADOW GALLERY as well as the traditional power metal bands BLIND GUARDIAN and RHAPSODY.
