ADAGIO To Support PARADISE LOST In France

August 31, 2009

French neo-classical metallers ADAGIO will support PARADISE LOST on the following dates:

Dec. 14 - Lyon, France - Tranbordeur
Dec. 18 - Cognac, France - Les Anciens Abbatoirs
Dec. 19 - Paris, France - Elysée Montmartre

Also scheduled to appear is SAMAEL.

"Archangels In Black", the new album from ADAGIO, was released in February via Listenable Records. The cover artwork was created by Guilherme Sevens and the CD was mastered at the Cutting Room in Sweden with Björn Engelmann (RAMMSTEIN, MESHUGGAH).

According to a press release, "without being a concept album, 'Archangels In Black' evokes the band's convictions about a certain Nightside philosophy and a very personal approach of life and death." Guitarist Stéphan Forté says, "Darkness is a concept with many branches, often misunderstood from outside, but elemental for some kind."

"Archangels In Black" is the first CD to feature ADAGIO's latest addition, Finnish singer Christian Palin.

Palin is a member of the Swedish/Finnish combo ESSENCE OF SORROW and RANDOM EYES.
