ACEY SLADE To Hit The Road With COMBICHRIST, BLACK LIGHT BURNS

February 10, 2009

Acey Slade (former member of the MURDERDOLLS, DOPE and TRASHLIGHT VISION) will hit the road with his solo band this week supporting COMBICHRIST and BLACK LIGHT BURNS. To coincide with the trek, Acey will release a "normal" version of the "Sex, Murder, Art, Baby!" EP, which contains two tracks from the album "The Dark Party" (due out later this year) and remixes by Piggy D (ROB ZOMBIE),Skinny Disco (DEATHSTARS) and Loopy (HANZEL UND GRETYL) and comes with a free button. It can be purchased on Acey's MySpace page starting today (Tuesday, February 10).

In December, Acey released the limited/advanced version of "Sex, Murder, Art, Baby!" as a signed and numbered disk with a free sticker and patch as well as the exclusive track "Love Sick Souls", all in a unique "trigger case" package. It sold out almost immediately.

Slade has been busy collaborating with drum-and-bass producer Shaun "Stakka" Morris, who co-wrote and produced "Sex, Murder, Art, Baby!" and "The Dark Party" between various tours over the past year.

"I wanted to challenge myself and try something new," said Acey. "I wanted an album that could be the soundtrack to an all night bender in a sketchy part of Tokyo. Dirty, fun, catchy and would knock you on your ass sonically."

Feb. 11 - Irving Plaza, New York NY
Feb. 12 - Recher Theater, Towson MD
