ACCEPT To Play Two U.S. Shows Next Month

February 12, 2016

Legendary German/American metallers ACCEPT will play two special U.S. shows next month. On March 3, ACCEPT will head to Sioux Falls to play at Badlands and make its way to The Arcada Theatre in St Charles, Illinois two days later, on March 5.

"After touring so much, we thought it would be great to have a long break to write songs," commented ACCEPT guitarist and main songwriter Wolf Hoffmann. "But then we changed our minds and thought it would be great to do a few shows just to stay sharp and keep up with the cool dynamics between us! Maybe we just need to get hot and sweaty on stage again."

After playing the U.S. dates, ACCEPT will cross the Atlantic to play in Austria then make its way to South America, where they will play in Argentina followed by five dates in Brazil!"

The latest ACCEPT album, "Blind Rage", was released in August 2014 via Nuclear Blast. Like its two predecessors, 2010's "Blood Of The Nations" and 2012's "Stalingrad", the new effort was helmed by British producer Andy Sneap, who has previously worked with MEGADETH, EXODUS, TESTAMENT, ARCH ENEMY and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. The cover artwork was created by Daniel Goldsworthy.

"Blind Rage" sold around 6,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release.

ACCEPT in April 2015 announced the addition of guitarist Uwe Lulis (GRAVE DIGGER, REBELLION) and drummer Christopher Williams to the group's ranks.

ACCEPT parted ways with guitarist Herman Frank and drummer Stefan Schwarzmann in December 2014.
