ACCEPT: BANG YOUR HEAD!!! Performance To Be Filmed For DVD Release

Reformed German heavy metal legends ACCEPT will have their performance at this year's edition of the Bang Your Head!!! festival in Germany filmed for a future DVD release.

Commented ACCEPT's manager Gaby Hoffmann (who is also married to the band's guitarist, Wolf Hoffmann): "The show in Balingen is the only one in the new life of ACCEPT that is going to be filmed! I expect the Bang Your Head!!! to be both the ending and the highlight of ACCEPT's exciting comeback. Neither one of us or the people who helped us expected ACCEPT to be welcomed by the fans in this way. We're grateful and happier than anyone else and would like to close this chapter with a cinematic documentation which shall capture the atmosphere in Balingen."

ACCEPT's appearance at the Bang Your Head!!! festival which is scheduled to take place July 15-16 in Balingen, Germany will mark a return to a five-piece format after the band spent the last couple of months touring as a quartet due to the fact that the band's guitarist, Herman Frank suffered broken ribs and a punctured lung in a stage fall on May 6 in San Antonio.

ACCEPT's latest album, "Blood Of The Nations", was released in North America on September 14, 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records. Recorded at Backstage Studio in Derbyshire, England with acclaimed British producer and SABBAT guitarist Andy Sneap (MEGADETH, EXODUS, ARCH ENEMY, MASTERPLAN), the CD marks the debut of the band's latest addition, vocalist Mark Tornillo (ex-TT QUICK).

ACCEPT performed its classic 1982 album "Restless And Wild" in its entirety including such trend-setting gems as "Fast As A Shark", "Restless & Wild" and "Princess Of The Dawn" on January 25 at Z7 in Pratteln, Switzerland. These classic songs were supplemented with several new songs from their latest album, "Blood Of The Nations".

ACCEPT kicked off its massive "Blood Of The Nations 2011 Tour" of Europe on January 14. The shows in Osnabrck, Bad Arolsen and Antwerp were packed with passionate metal-loving fans. The two-hour-plus performance pummeled the fans with classics like "Balls To The Wall", "Metal Heart" and the immortal "Princess Of the Dawn", completed with the pedal-to-the-metal bombast of ACCEPT's new hits "Teutonic Terror" and "The Abyss".

ACCEPT 2011 is:

Wolf Hoffmann: Guitar
Peter Baltes: Bass
Herman Frank: Guitar
Mark Tornillo: Vocals
Stefan Schwarzmann: Drums
