AC/DC To Play 'Intimate' German Shows

May 17, 2003

AC/DC will play several intimate German concerts next month around their previously announced support gigs with THE ROLLING STONES.

The following headlining shows have been confirmed so far:

Jun. 09 – Berlin, GER @ TBA
Jun. 10 – Munich, GER @ Circus Krone

As previously reported, AC/DC will open for THE ROLLING STONES at the following dates:

Jun. 13 - Oberhausen, GER @ O-Vision Park
Jun. 20 - Leipzig, GER @ Festweise
Jun. 22 - Hockenheim, GER @ Hockenheimring

In February, AC/DC's Angus and Malcolm Young joined THE ROLLING STONES on stage at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney, Australia for a rendition of the B.B. KING blues classic "Rock Me Baby".

The intimate show at the 2,000-capacity venue was the only small show the STONES were doing before they moved on to larger stadiums and indoor arenas as part of the Australian leg of their Forty Licks tour.
