AC/DC Items To To Fetch Top Dollar At SWAMPY Auction

August 24, 2004

An Angus Young (AC/DC) jacket is expected to go for between AUS$6,000 to AUS$8,000 (between $4,250 and $5,670) and the "Forty Licks" setlist from Toronto autographed by all members of AC/DC and the ROLLING STONES is expected to fetch between AUS$5,000 and AUS$6,000 (between $3,540 and $4,250) at the Wane Swampy Jarvis auction in Sydney this Sunday, according to Undercover News.

Most of the items up for auction have been kept in boxes in their garage for years. "We only had half a dozen items framed and mounted in the house" tour manager Wane Swampy Jarvis' wife Kerri told Undercover. "Wane kept all of the memorabilia in boxes in the garage. Whenever we moved house, we had to look for a house with a double garage. Not for the cars, but for the memorabilia."

The auction will take place at Bonhams and Goodman, 7 Anderson Street, Double Bay NSW this Sunday from 1pm.

Fans interstate and overseas can log onto the web site and bid live for the items as well.
