ABORTED: 'We're Very Confident About The Material Written So Far'

October 30, 2007

Belgian death metallers ABORTED have issued the following update:

"Okay, after somewhat 40 shows without days off we're back home and the tour was absolutely killer. We'd like to thank everyone of you guys that came out to the shows and supported the band. This was by far the best tour we ever did (both on fun and professional level) and we wouldn't have had a blast without the fans being there for us. Thank you guys! Since we're being generous we'd also like to extend our gratitude to our partners in crime from BEHEMOTH and KATAKLYSM who are not only killer bands but became good friends and from whom we learned a lot as well. Thanks one more time to the excellent crew and the RTN people, it was a blast!!

"Our sincere apologies to the people in Glasgow/Dublin where the shows were cancelled due to our bus being inpounded by the British police and us being stuck for two days in Wales, we will be back early next year to make up for it, count on it!

"Besides this, we are working on several more touring plans, mainly in the U.S. and a short end of year trek through Germany, which will be announced soon.

"Being home and having our balls been busted we're already working hard on the new album and songwriting is going pretty smoothly. There is a great osmose with the lineup and we're very confident about the material written so far. Expect album title to be revealed soon as well as some updates on when the album will be out, who will record/mix it, all that whoosaah."

ABORTED recently uploaded the second episode in the Slaughter & Apparatus TV series, which contains on- and off-stage shenanigans from the European tour.
