ABDULLAH Named 'Best Local Metal Band' By Cleveland's FREE TIMES

April 4, 2006

Cleveland doom rockers ABDULLAH have been honored as the "Best Local Metal Band" in the annual Free Times music awards for 2006. The Cleveland Free Times is the big weekly entertainment publication in Northeastern Ohio, along with long-standing rival Scene magazine, and past winners of this award have included CHIMAIRA, RINGWORM and MUSHROOMHEAD.

ABDULLAH took Scene magazine's "Best Metal Band" award in 2004 and are currently in the process of writing and recording their next official release to follow up their 2005 split CD with South America's DRAGONAUTA.
