ABATTOIR: New Rehearsal Video Available

April 9, 2009

Reunited California cult heavy metal band ABATTOIR will guest on KNAC.COM's "The Vault" with host DJ Will this Sunday, April 12 at 11:30 a.m. PST.

ABATTOIR will play a warm-up concert for its upcoming European tour on April 18 at the Black Castle in Los Angeles.

Commented frontman Steve Gaines: "This show will be our entire set for the European tour, and will definitely feature special guest — ABATTOIR member Danny Oliverio on guitar for four or five songs. Seriously, just a massive wall of guitars... it really sounds amazing. And if we can convince him, Mark the Shark would be welcomed for a song or two as well. You ain't heard nothing until you have heard ABATTOIR with four guitars playing 'Screams From The Grave'."

Recently filmed video footage of ABATTOIR rehearsing for the band's upcoming European tour can be viewed below.

L.A. metalheads have waited nine years since hearing the roaring vocals of Steve Gaines, the thundering bass of Mel Sanchez, the flawless guitar work of Juan Garcia and Tim Thomas, and the relentless drums of Rob Alaniz.

ABATTOIR will make its European debut at the Keep It True XII festival, which is scheduled to take place April 24-25, 2009 at the Tauberfrankenhalle in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany.

In the early '80s, ABATTOIR etched its mark on the developing Los Angeles metal circuit alongside bands like W.A.S.P., MALICE, ARMORED SAINT, and SLAYER.
