ABATTOIR Complete Work On 'Evil Incarnate'

March 30, 2003

Los Angeles based thrash metal legends ABATTOIR have completed work on their third studio album, "Evil Incarnate", tentatively due in late 2003 through an as-yet-undetermined label.

ABATTOIR's fourth album overall (following last year's successful comeback CD, "Live! No Sleep 'Til Kalamazoo"),"Evil Incarnate" features 14 new songs, and is being described as "the best music ABATTOIR has ever done… slightly ahead of 1985's classic 'Vicious Attack' … exactly what you would expect from ABATTOIR."

In other news, ABATTOIR have been confirmed as a featured headliner at the Classic Metal Festival 3, which takes place the weekend of June 27-28 at Oasis One-Sixty in Chicago Heights, Illinois (as first reported here on Feb. 8). Other groups set to appear at the event include METALUCIFER, NASTY SAVAGE, MELIAH RAGE, SKULLVIEW, ZANDELLE, PREMONITION, TWISTED TOWER DIRE, VYNDYKATOR, TWELFTH GATE, OCTOBER 31, RIVAL, DAMIEN THORNE, IRON CROSS, CATCH 22 and WOJO BRAGG. Tickets for Classic Metal Festival 3 are only $30, and can be purchased at www.metal-music-foundation.com.
