IRON MAIDEN: 'Live From Abbey Road' To Air On SUNDANCE Channel This Week - July 9, 2007

IRON MAIDEN will appear on "Live from Abbey Road" on Thursday, July 12 on the Sundance channel.

The last in the series, IRON MAIDEN's performance is a stunning finale to the groundbreaking show. Showcasing the group's new album with an incendiary performance of "Brighter than a Thousand Suns" alongside the classic epic that is "Hallowed be thy Name", IRON MAIDEN shows why it is one of the most popular live bands on the planet right now.

You can grab a sneak peek of "Hallowed be thy Name" in the "Footage" section of the Abbey Road web site. Another preview clip in which members of IRON MAIDEN speak about their work and perform can be found at iFilm.

"Live from Abbey Road" originally aired in the U.K. this past March on Channel 4.

This band should NEVER retire. They still sound awesome, all of them. and AMOLAD was a great, great, GREAT record.

Both songs are on Youtube in full. Music sounds great but I think all Bruce's vocals were dubbed over or heavily remixed, which sucks. Granted, "Brighter Than a Thousand Suns" is very difficult song to sing, but Bruce should have handled it well enough to not be dubbed over and there is no excuse for Hallowed, he's done it for 25 years.
