I personally think meet and greets are bullshit. If a band really wants to meet their fans, they should do it for free. If it's not worth it to them to do it for no charge they should just skip the whole thing altogether.

I honestly can't comprehend why this band still has news coverage or is still booked anywhere. I saw them once at a festival and it was the most pathetic thing, Vince singing horribly and drooling to some paid dancing chicks they had onstage, and the rest of them trying to fight for spotlight all the time. vow some people are stupid here, Tomme Lee is a great rock drummer and one of the most fun at that and his history shows that, i know he's not the best drummer in the world but still good.

and he like most rock bands and bands that actually play their instruments and write their own songs are famous because of themselfs and of course the fans too. and Tommy is usually great with fans and has always been, just because you hate him for some strange reasons doesnt mean you can just throw some shit around because your sitting in your mothers basement crying about why some other people have it better then yourself.

.....he is just not into the idea of hanging out with a bunch 40 and 50 year old female Motley Crue fans. Most of these women have each pumped out a few kids and go to Crue concerts desperately trying to wear the same outfits that they wore during the Crue's "Theater of Pain" tour. I saw something similar to this the last time that I saw AC/DC back in 2000.
I just can't believe that anything the Crue does is still newsworthy. Hair metal sucked in the 80s and sucks even more now, because it's so damn irrelevant. Seriously, 40 - 50 year old men, still singing songs about picking up strippers and getting laid? It's pretty damn sad. The death of hair/glam metal was the greatest thing about the rise of Grunge in the early 90s.

One friend was chosen and he was told by the band's security, along with the other 9 people, if they try to get more than 2 items signed they will be dragged out. Nice way to treat your customers. James insisted that he personalized his guitar so he couldn't sell it on ebay. James won't even look at you outside of the event. And the stupid comment about Jason, he hasn't been in the band for 10 fucking years and hasn't done a thing up until recently. Of course he will sign and take a photo, he's not a corporate whore like the rest of em'.

why should musicians care about autographs???? its about music at least for people that can actually play, and i know tommy isnt the best drummer but still a very good drummer and a great rock drummer and puts on a great show but of course they try to make extra buck and all bands do, and most bands try to make new music even if they stop being the new cool thing, and they still make great music even better then lots of the earlier stuff but the fans are so close minded and stuck in the past that its often difficult for bands to play new songs live and so on.

probably best to be in a bands that is big without really having any huge hits, then you mostly have true fans and not the 1-2 songs an album people.

Does anyone else remember when Tommy Lee did that reality show about being in a college marching band (Tommy Lee Goes To College)? He thought he was going to just jump in and take over the band. Needless to say, he was laughed at for having no chops and no clue as to what "rudiments" are. The show was cancelled after only a few episodes.
