SIX FEET UNDER Frontman Unveils IHATE Side Project - Feb. 28, 2013

SIX FEET UNDER frontman Chris Barnes is working with a "brutal side project" called IHATE.

A video for the song "Stretcher", which features Barnes on vocals, can be seen below.

SIX FEET UNDER's tenth full-length album, "Unborn", will be released on March 19 via Metal Blade Records. The follow-to to 2012's "Undead" was mixed by Chris "Zeuss" Harris, who has previously worked with SUICIDE SILENCE, ALL THAT REMAINS, SHADOWS FALL and SOULFLY, among others.

"Unborn" will be released as an exclusive European box-set edition which will include the limited digipak of "Unborn" and a bonus track entitled "Illusions". Additionally the box will feature a poster, a patch, two pins and a sticker plus enough space for last year's "Undead" album. The bonus track will be featured on the vinyl version of "Unborn" as well.

How people can listen to six feet under is beyond me. Theyre not even mediocre.

Even Deicide (who have not released a good slbum in over 10 years) are light years better.

Barnes owned in CC, but that wasnt exactly yesterday

those lyrics were brutal. and i don't mean that in a good way. it's like they were written by an angry 10 year old. and i might be generous in my analysis. just awful. are there actually people who like this? i can appreciate good death metal, but musically and especially lyrically it's very juvenile.

I dont see why barnes doesnt just start CC up again and use the original band logo. get jack owen on guitar, Paul M can play drums and let the other CC get a super blasting technical drummer that they really need.

I'm a huge fan of Barnes..I love the last six feet under album and think the 2 new six feet under songs are amazing

That being said this is horrible. Why he would release this just before the new six feet under is set to come out is crazy

I never comment on here. But, for fuck sake that was bad. Its hard to believe Chris Barnes used to be an icon in Death Metal. Not just is the music terrible, but this is even worse than the sing/growl vocals he did on the Warpath album! Fucking terrible. Go home Chris Barnes. Your days are over.
