Australia's
"60 Minutes" recently caught up with Boston's bad boys —
AEROSMITH singer
Steven Tyler and guitarist
Joe Perry —for an extensive chat about their legendary career and survival tactics for the future. Check out the chat at
this location.
Tyler admitted to snorting his way through around $5-6 million dollars' worth of cocaine during his career.
Asked by
Liz Hayes about his habit that led to him spending about $20 million on cocaine,
Tyler corrected the reporter, saying, "Realistically, 5 or 6. But it doesn't matter. You also could say I snorted half of Peru, but it doesn't matter."
Tyler and
AEROSMITH guitarist
Joe Perry, who were once known as the "toxic twins," had a falling out over the singer's stint as a judge on
"American Idol" but their relationship is now said to be back on track after they started collaborating closely again when
Tyler exited the TV show.
"We can still be toxic. We fight toxic and we play toxic,"
Tyler said.
