AEROSMITH Interviewed On Australia's '60 Minutes'; Video Available - Feb. 25, 2013
Australia's "60 Minutes" recently caught up with Boston's bad boys — AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler and guitarist Joe Perry —for an extensive chat about their legendary career and survival tactics for the future. Check out the chat at this location.

Tyler admitted to snorting his way through around $5-6 million dollars' worth of cocaine during his career.

Asked by Liz Hayes about his habit that led to him spending about $20 million on cocaine, Tyler corrected the reporter, saying, "Realistically, 5 or 6. But it doesn't matter. You also could say I snorted half of Peru, but it doesn't matter."
Tyler and AEROSMITH guitarist Joe Perry, who were once known as the "toxic twins," had a falling out over the singer's stint as a judge on "American Idol" but their relationship is now said to be back on track after they started collaborating closely again when Tyler exited the TV show.

"We can still be toxic. We fight toxic and we play toxic," Tyler said.

"Music From Another Dimension!", the 15th studio album and the first studio collection of all-new material in 11 years from AEROSMITH sold 63,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 5 on The Billboard 200 chart. The CD arrived in stores on November 6 via Columbia Records.

"Music From Another Dimension!" was recorded in Los Angeles and at the band's studio in Massachusetts; it was produced by Jack Douglas, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, with the exception of three tracks produced by Tyler and Marti Frederiksen.

O V A

Just get out there and do tours playing the hits and oldies. People will still pay to hear Dream On and they always will.

...on their newer albums (i.e. - everything since Perm Vacation), you hear hints of the "old, gritty" Aerosmith. But for the most part, it's all song-doctoring, glossy ballads, trip-hoppin' effects garbage.

Last great album = Done With Mirrors.

is Pump, yeah it's not as heavy rocking, but it's still really good. Anything after has been like 3 star material or worse, including the new one. But the first 5 are all rock n roll classics.
