NIKKI SIXX: New Audio Interview Posted Online - Feb. 17, 2013
MÖTLEY CRÜE and SIXX: A.M. bassist Nikki Sixx has transcended the "rock star" label to become an award-winning songwriter, best-selling author, photographer, fashion designer, philanthropist, celebrated radio host... and family man. Nic Harcourt of GuitarCenter.com recently sat down with Nikki to talk about the rocker's incredible career, today's music business, and what motivates Nikki to continue doing what he does best. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.

Interview (audio):

Schecter Guitar Research recently announced a partnership with Sixx to create the new Schecter Sixx Signature Series Bass. Sixx introduced the Schecter Sixx with an exclusive signing at the winter NAMM conference in Anaheim, California on January 26 the Schecter booth.

The paperback edition of Sixx's book, "This Is Gonna Hurt: Music, Photography And Life Through The Distorted Lens Of Nikki Sixx", has just been released. The book originally debuted at No. 4 on The New York Times "Hardcover Advice & Misc" best seller list.

The "This Is Gonna Hurt" book explores a new, more introspective side, the first-ever public showing of his photography and insights on his life yesterday, today and tomorrow. "This Is Gonna Hurt" takes Sixx to a whole new level as an artist, musician and photographer. Accompanying the book, was a new CD by SIXX: A.M. complementing the book's themes and showcasing the incredible songwriting and musicianship of Sixx and SIXX: A.M. bandmates James Michael and DJ Ashba.

Nikki should bring back Corabi, get rid of Vince Meal. And they can make a killer new record just like the self titled release with John.

The real posers are the douchebags that rag on Sixx. The man has become a legend without having to play like a virtuoso or cater to other peoples idea of stardom.
