BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's 'Temper, Temper' Projected To Sell 30K-35K First Week - Feb. 13, 2013
"Temper, Temper", the fourth album from Welsh metallers BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE, is likely to sell between 30,000 and 35,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release, according to industry web site Hits Daily Double. The estimate was based on one-day sales reports compiled after the record arrived in stores on February 12 via RCA.

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE's previous effort, 2010's "Fever", opened with 71,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 3 on The Billboard 200 chart. It was also a Top 10 release in the U.K., Japan, Australia, Austria, Canada, Germany and Switzerland.

The Welsh quartet changed the way they approached making an album this time around, with guitarist/vocalist Matt Tuck and drummer Michael "Moose" Thomas traveling to Thailand to do the initial writing and recording for the album. Tuck told The Pulse Of Radio why they made the trip. "It was just nice being in a studio 24/7, really, you know, with no distractions from home and stuff," he said. "So that was kind of the main reason why we went there and it just worked out well, you know, because we didn't have any pressures from having to travel, having to cook your own food — just all the stuff that is an everyday process obviously takes a lot of time out of the day to be creative. So just being there, being able to write 24/7, was a huge advantage."

The first single from "Temper, Temper" is called "Riot".

BULLET FOR MY VALENTINE will headline the fifth edition of the "HardDrive Live" tour, which will kick off on April 12 in Denver. Joining them will be main support HALESTORM, plus special guests YOUNG GUNS and openers STARS IN STEREO. The trek is sponsored by the nationally syndicated weekly Active Rock radio program "HardDrive".

What a fucking disgrace.

This is the shittiest false metal bullshit imaginable... and it will probably sell more than the 5 best *actual* metal albums of the year combined...

At the end of the day these guys are signed on Sony, one of the big 3 of the recording industry.

Thats a huge PR department and a lot of money to put in to the band (product). It would be almost impossible for this to sell bad.

Fuckin' awful band though. Metal for people who also think Disturbed and the like are amazing metal bands.

Each to their own though!

I swear they've done a variation of that riff on every album prior to this.

I love Disturbed, but do NOT care for BFMV...

They are both mainstream acts granted, but Apples and fucking oranges.

i'd be fair and not just bash them for no reason. So I listened to the album and I am pretty surprised to hear such a change in sound. Far from the worst thing i've heard, but not hardly that good. Sounds too weenie & emoish. I give it around 3/3.5 out of 5.

Maybe I'm supposed to hate these guys, for all the reasons everyone lists on here. They're screamo/emo-metal etc etc.

I'm a 33 year old guy that loves traditional metal from Sabbath and AC/DC to Metallica/Megadeth and some of the current ones like Volbeat and FFDP.

That said, I fucking love this band. This is one of the few groups that I can put their entire catalog on shuffle when I'm at the gym running and I don't have to skip a track. Maybe that's not getting as overly technical as some people would like, but it means something to me.

I've seen them live 3 times and they've kicked ass each time. I can't wait to add another show to the list in May!

Aww poor little boys couldn't handle cooking your own food because it distracted you from writing more dogcrap that the world doesn't deserve to hear. You mediocre muppets are the biggest Nancy's on the planet. Do the world a favor and off yourselves!!!! LAME!!!!!!!
