Facts are this;

David Silveria went on to the Korn fan site Kornspace (has since closed) with a real account, proved it was him, took photos etc as proof. Then went on to bitch about Korn in an online chat.

He said that they all would play wasted and he would never drink before a show. He said he absolutely hates Jonathan Davis and Fieldy but thought Munky was cool. He said Jonathan Davis wife is a slut. And he said he fucked Jonathan Davis wife and she is the reason Korn started going downhill and I do believe he dropped the C bomb when describing her.

The band then had the chat transcript removed from Kornspace and responded on Kornspace within 24 hours telling fans of the band that they don't wish hate spread about the bands family etc and that it should be about music and not stuff like that and that's why David isn't in the band because he had lost the plot. They didn't deny that Fieldy was a big part of his departure. In fact Fieldy himself admitted in his own book that he was the rudest in the band and only really has dealt with his anger issues recently.

At the time this all happened David was releasing his new bands stuff Infinika. Which is probably why he felt he could just be straight about it. When people realized it was really him on the chat board, the first question obviously was why did he leave Korn. It had been years and not a peep out of him.

The reason nobody saw what was said was because it was all removed within 24hours. There is a transcript out there somewhere still. I just happened to be on the site when it happened so I saw.

What he said was pretty low though especially about Jon's wife. I wouldn't want him in the band either if he was gonna do that. He also was done for DUI about a week or so later.

I saved the entire transcript and saved everything David said, its pretty gnarly. From that and things he said on Facebook last night apparently during 2012 there were meetings to do a reunion tour with KoRn. Something happened where David felt he was fucked over or something, he didnt say what but he was pissed off enough to go on KoRnSpace to unload his thoughts to some KoRn fans, and boy was it a doozy. lol. He def seems to be an arrogant prick and alcoholic, so he's def not where the other guys in KoRn are at in their lives. So far he's the only member stuck in the Rock Star partying, egotistical lifestyle and mentallity. Its obvious.

At the same time I do give him credit for having the nuts to say exactly what he thinks in public and not make up lies to the fans or anyone else like the other guys in KoRn or other bands. I would be pissed off too if I were Jonathan Davis. But again we dont know what they did to make David so pissed. So I'm not gonna speculate on anything, its gotten ugly and its really their business. I'm not gonna judge them or hate the band, shit happens and there is way more than we know about.

Some fans dont get that even though the whole situation seems to be a certain way, whatever they think of it and side they take, that things like this could be completely different that what you think. There could be so much more, or there may not be. Who the fuck knows. Only the band members know the complete situation for now. Or Until Jonathan does something to enrage David again is. lol.

Whatever happens I've liked and loved every KoRn album since I heard them in 1995, Ray is a great drummer for them, but at the same time it doesnt feel 100% right without King Silveria on the drum throne driving the KoRn train. He may be a dick at times but he's a fucking badass drummer and one of the best ever. He was after all the guy who did a lot of the work in a 'leader' type role in Korn since the begining, even before he rang up Jonathan to try out for the band.

Gotta respect him still, only KoRn and Nirvana were able to give rock music a kick in the ass and make every rock band in the world stop what they were doing and take notice. I'm not counting a lot of you death metal/religious metal fans/Blabbermouth keyboard King Kongs. I know you will say some shit, and I really dont give a fuck.

But ya David needs to get his shit together since he obviously did or said something that resulted in the full KoRn reunion tour from happening. Almost did though. He said the KoRn guys fucked him over and did something to him last year to cause him to get his bitter revenge by airing dirty laundry, lol. Its funny but sad when you think of. The way he's acting he seems to be in deep denial, and he's very bitter about Ray being in the band. I get the feeling he wanted back in the band permanently and they said no. Or maybe just decided not to take him back because they saw how he still has the same problems he had in 2006. either way both parties have been talking shit about each other. Both Jonathan and David revealed personal shit about each other in public that just was not kool at all. But I can see why they wouldnt want David in the band at the moment. since he's still drinking and drugging, which resulted in him not wanting to go to rehab in 2006 which resulted in him and his long "hiatus", and it also destroyed his marriage pretty much and his businesses. I'm sure theres way more than we know bu, I just wanna see them back together, and I know what its like to have a physical addiction and not be able to get out of it. Its harder than people think.

I'm 29, and Ive seen KoRn over 30 times since 1999, now a days you go to a KoRn show and you'll see mostly people my age who are still fans, and you'll see a shit load of teenagers or younger, and then it ranges from about 30 years old to 40's. Sometimes youll see crazy drunk people in their 50's, lol, but you see that at every show. Simply put its usually young teenagers to mid 30's-mid 40's. But mostly about 60% are in their 20's or so. Just because I stopped giving a fuck about Green Day when I was 14 doesn't mean I should assume they aren't still popular and have a lot of fans. I realized a while ago that it was stupid for me to judge other people on what they listen to. I'm still bitter about the whole 'Emo' scene admittedly, and thank god thats over with for the most part, lmao. But I'm way more tolerant than I used to be. Worshiping and humping the Metal Bible makes you mentally retarded in the long run, the majority of metal heads hate on other music but in the personal space of their home they listen to and like other kinds of music that they would never admit to listening to, even if accussed of it would gladly rip someone's head of, or claim to be able to do so from behind the safety of a computer screen and keyboard while they listen to Eminem or New Kids on the Block before going to their death/doom metal band practice. lol. That part was a joke, but a lot of people are too afraid to admit what they listen to in fear of being made fun of not being 'cool', online or in person. Since I realized I did that too sometimes back in the day, I really dont give a fuck what other people thnk, music is music. Wether it's Pantera, Cannibal Corpse or Deftones and Limp Bizkit. David Silveria has completely lost the plot. He is an egotistical, alcoholic and unfortunately he is dragging a lot of Korn fans down with him on his little keyboard bashing Facebook escapade. It makes me really sad that he has lowered himself to attacking Korn fans "by name" on his Facebook page and hitting out at his former bandmates in a personal way. Whats worse is that there are a lot of people out there who think this is ok. Up and onwards anyway. Theres not a chance Korn will take him back after the way he has acted over the last 12 months.

LOL at the "professional drummer" on here claiming David is a shitty drummer. Do you think Angus Young is a "shitty guitar player" because he couldn't play a Children of Bodom song?

Hate on David all you want, and I get that he might not be a person you would want to be around at this point, but the fact is this - his style has influenced more drummers than ANYONE since Dave Grohl.

Is he "as good a drummer" as Ray or someone like Mike Portnoy? No. Has he influenced as many if not way more bands than him? Fuck yes he has.

He took what Primus and RHCP did, put that style on steroids, and brought a whole new drum tone to rock music (for better or worse depending on who you ask). If Avenged Sevenfold were influenced by Portnoy, then equally so by David. You think Slipknot would've been as huge if not for David's style? Ross Robinson very likely wouldn't have a career if that band and their drummer hadn't come around and matched his production style so well.

Some of you need a reality check. If that dude were to die, this is the sort of tribute you'd read. Not that he's a shitty technical drummer or a piece of shit human being or something. Give the man some credit.

I think you're giving the guy a lot more credit than he deserves. He played drums in a style that suited the band. I play drums, and I would say I personally (growing up being a huge fan of the band) was influenced heavily by his playing. I just think you're giving him more credit for their sound, than he actually deserves.

I don't think he was the driving force in inventing an entire new sound of drumming, I think Korn's sound as a whole was a new sound. You're also discrediting other bands like the Deftones - who's drummer (in my opinion) is a lot better, and they came out at the same time with a similar sort of vibe. The fact that the Deftones didn't garner as much success at the time is neither here nor there, as they have been consistently putting out good records for a lot longer than Korn has.

I like his drumming, I think he is far better suited to Korn than Ray (he is a beast, but he's too busy when he plays for their sound) but I dunno, I think you've given him more credit than he deserves that's all.

The way you're talking about him (or the way I think you're talking about him) it's like he was destined for success with or without Korn because his drumming was so prolific. I think without Head's writing (which is evident he was the driving force in the writing after hearing his new band) and Fieldy's bass slap sound, he probably would have been nobody.

It's just my opinion, as you have your own opinion, not having a dig at you. Friendly debate.

It's kind of like Motley Crue for me... I don't think Tommy Lee is a good drummer, really. But their impact is undeniable in the music world. But it's the whole band that made that impact, not just him, and he has probably influenced heaps of drummers too, but is he any good? He's ok.

If Tommy Lee died, he wouldn't be remembered as a drumming virtuoso, he would be remembered as being part of Motley Crue, a band that was/is huge. Same as David.

Your comparison to Mike Portnoy however, although DT was/hasn't been as popular as Korn in their careers in the mainstream, Mike Portnoy will be remembered as an amazingly talented drummer. That will be his legacy. That, in my opinion, will come first.

David's will be that he was in Korn, a popular band of the 90's/early 00's. Regardless of his influence, that will always come first.

I think of Mike Portnoy, I think great drummer first (Dream Theater second, complete egotistical dickhead third) and when I think of David, I think of Korn first, drummer second.

It's like RJD. I think amazing singer before I think Black Sabbath or DIO. Jonathan Davis, I think singer of Korn first, then great singer second. Not that the two names deserve to be in the same debate, as JD has nothing on RJD.

Anyway you get my point. I think the band will be remembered before any of his influence on the drumming world.

Remember this too: Jon and Fieldy would have liked to sack David before the first album already. However, it would have been a very risky move at that point considering how much drumming contributed to their highly original (and successful) sound.

He can't have been exactly like Robbin Crosby or Steven Adler but uncontrolled partying was a huge burden to the band all the time. No one will miss him now that they have a trustworthy pro like Ray.

I just think he needs the money. You don't talk about escaping a bad situation just to run right back into it again. Korn stopped being listenable in the late 1990's. And before that it was just nu-mtal with the vocalist whining about getting corn-holed. Let's all move on already. I'm blind! More like, "Wish I was deeeaf!"
