Video: SANCTUARY/NEVERMORE Singer Performs At 'All Star Acoustic Night' In Seattle - Jan. 12, 2013
SANCTUARY/NEVERMORE vocalist Warrel Dane joined forces with musician Jonny Smokes for a performance at "All Star Acoustic Night" on October 20, 2012 at 7 Studio Seven in Seattle, Washington. Video footage of the concert, which was recorded for CD release, can be viewed below.

SANCTUARY's "comeback" album — tentatively titled "The Year The Sun Died" — is due before the end of this year through Century Media Records. The CD will include the tracks "I Am Low" and "The World Is Wired", which were performed on the band's 2012 European tour.

Drummer Van Williams and guitarist Jeff Loomis announced their departure from NEVERMORE in April 2011 due to personal differences with Dane and the band's bassist, Jim Sheppard. Their replacements have not yet been announced.

Warrel's a badass, no question. But I really miss my Nevermore.

The never more guys all need to sit down and sort out getting back together. Warren is a wasted artist in sanctuary, and solo. He needs the compliment of loomis' riffs to shine.

Loomis' solo work is fucking great mind you, but being in a band also made his writing less wank and more tasteful. As much as their personal relationships were damaging, the musicianship these two red off each other was amazing, IMO.

That takes balls to cover Frank Sinatra but that was killer, depressing and minimalist, I would love to hear a studio version.
