Topps baseball-card publisher has added the "Heavy Metal Autographs" insert set to the previously announced 2013 Topps Archives baseball set.
The cards will be limited to 25 copies and printed on metal.

2013 Topps Archives Baseball is slated for release on May 29.
The August 2011 issue of
Revolver magazine contained limited-edition baseball cards of the "Big Four" bands of thrash metal —
METALLICA,
SLAYER,
MEGADETH and
ANTHRAX — who played the historic first metal show ever at Yankee Stadium on September 14, 2011. The cards were modeled after the classic
Topps baseball cards from 1986, the same year these four bands released their metal masterpieces.
