RUSH Frontman To Appear On CBS' 'How I Met Your Mother' - Jan. 8, 2013
According to The Huffington Post, RUSH frontman Geddy Lee will appear on the wildly popular CBS comedy "How I Met Your Mother" on February 4, along with a number of other Canadian guest stars, including Alan Thicke, Paul Shaffer, Jason Priestley, Alex Trebek, K. D. Lang, former BARENAKED LADIES frontman Steven Page, and former hockey player Luc Robitaille.

A video preview can be seen on the CBS web site.

"How I Met Your Mother" — which co-stars Neil Patrick Harris in his Emmy-nominated role as the legendary Barney Stinson — hit the airwaves in 2005 but didn't really gain traction in the press until late in its third season.

The Big banf Theory is the only modern sitcom worth watching, if at all.

The show is terrible. But good for Geddy & RUSH. It's kinda like Billy Gibbons appearing on Bones, it's cool, but it doesn't make the show not suck.

Might have to watch this just one time just to see Geddy Lee. Since he's cool like that.

Why? Because of Jason Segel. If you'll notice all the way back to Freaks and Geeks, he had a drum kit and was a total RUSH nerd.
And if you look at the film I Love You Man, which also stars Jason Segel,
they actually go to a RUSH gig.

of "How I met your mother" has steadily gone down hill ever since Geoff Tate took over the writing.

Well put.

Geddy should appear on Big Bang instead (nerds with nerds). It's one of the funniest shows I've ever seen.

BBT and HIMYM are two of the most boring shows I have ever seen.

The end.
