LED ZEPPELIN's Music To Be Made Available For Streaming - Jan. 8, 2013
According to The New York Times, LED ZEPPELIN is in negotiations with a number of subscription music services — including Spotify, Rdio and Rhapsody — for the exclusive right to stream the band's catalog.

"We're excited about the opportunity to collaborate with LED ZEPPELIN to activate streaming rights for their catalog," a spokesman for the Warner Music Group, the band's longtime record label, said in a statement. "We're supportive of the band's discussions with W.M.G.'s streaming service partners to create a window of exclusivity to maximize the impact of this launch."

ZEPPELIN has sold more than 111 million albums in the United States, including 840,000 in 2012.

The band waited until 2007 to make its albums available through iTunes.

LED ZEPPELIN's concert film, "Celebration Day", which is available on CD, DVD, and Blu-ray disc, sold 101,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 9 on The Billboard 200 chart. The package arrived in stores on November 19, 2012 via Swan Song/Atlantic Records.

Finally got around to listening to Celebration Day...

Fucking brilliant. Just a bit wobbly here and there at times, but that's part of the charm.

Amazed how good Plant sounded...I really dug his different interpretation of Black Dog...it's slinkier and sexier, not as high and powerful but it really works.

Highlights are In My Time of Dying and Kashmir...just note-perfect. Kudos to them for pulling off a brilliant show.

Agree! Celebration Day fantastic... my obly beef is that the drums seem too quiet at points. For Your Life blew me away. Shit was TIGHT!

Buy the CDs, cheap bastards. Led Zeppelin should be in everyone's media collection. I guess if you're young and you hold out for the upcoming reissues, that's understandable.

I loved that they did For Your Life during that show! One of my favorite songs!

I agree with Aces_High99 on this comment:

I thought the same thing when I first heard it.

Hey, I bought all the albums, cassettes and cd's which I thought was pretty generous, so I feel not one bit guilty if I download their whole catalog right now...but I am over it alresdy. Just turn on the classic rock station and you can hear them every 5 minutes.

Thought they crushed it on 'In My Time of Dying'. 'For Your Life' was epic to see for the first time ever. Plant sounds amazing on the dvd. Just watched it at home for the first time just like 9 days ago. I own 8 Zeppelin cds, just bragging.

Agreed, Celebration Day is the shit. Page is a fucking animal on No Quarter, For Your Life, In My Time Of Dying, Trampled Underfoot, etc. Plant has held up 10x better than any of his peers, a genius vocalist that knows how to improv better than anyone, which is also true of legends Page and Jones. JPJ is incredible on bass, keyboards, and those sinister, window rattling bass pedals. I'll take one John Paul Jones over a whole orchestra, what he plays always sounds perfect, but spontaneous too. Let's face it, Zeppelin are improvisation masters. Celebration Day is tight, punchy, modern, and full of Zeppelin essence, of course is was best with Bonzo, but this is surprisingly great. It's still #1 in like 5 different categories on Amazon after almost 2 months. Deserves it. Led Zeppelin always lives up to the hype. The coolest band ever.
