CORROSION OF CONFORMITY: New Video Interview Posted Online - Dec. 28, 2012
Metal Mark of SkullsNBones.com conducted an interview with Raleigh, North Carolina legends CORROSION OF CONFORMITY aboard Barge To Hell — the world's most extreme metal cruise — which sailed Monday, December 3, 2012 from Miami, Florida to Nassau, Bahamas and returned to the real world on Friday, December 7. Check out the chat below.

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's new EP, "Megalodon", was released on November 13 via Scion Audio/Visual, (a.k.a. Scion A/V), the in-house record label and lifestyle marketing division of the Scion marque produced by Toyota Motor Corporation for the North American market.

"Megalodon" track listing:

01. Feed On
02. Priest Brains
03. The Megalodon
04. Strong Medicine Too Late
05. The Vulture

In a recent interview with Revolver magazine, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY guitarist Woody Weatherman stated about "Megalodon", "We did that in our hometown of Raleigh, North Carolina, which is kind of nice, to be able to hang around in town and not have to go out somewhere, go to L.A. or New York. Sometimes it's nice to record at home. You get a little better vibe. Plus I got to use all of my own gear. So it was fun."

Candlelight Records has just re-released CORROSION OF CONFORMITY's "Eye For An Eye". This special reissue has been remastered/packaged and includes the EP "Six Songs With Mike Singing". Both titles have been out of print for years. It follows the successful release of the band's self-titled album earlier this year. A deluxe digibook edition of the album, limited to 1000 for North America, is available at limited retailers and via Candlelight's official webstore. The digibook version includes extended liner notes and a rare pictorial gallery.

COC is having a serious identity crisis. First they were punk. Then metal. Now they're hell bent on trying to sound like every other stoner rock band with the Ozzy vocals. Get the Blind lineup back together and I'll come to the show and buy a t-shirt. This is pure garbage. Yawn.

I would like to see an album with Karl Agell back on vocals.

He gave them an edge.

The drummer did a few (Blind era) dates with him a couple of years back or so.
Agell's band - Leadfoot (underrated band themselves) seems to have vanished.

Love some of there older stuff like a lot of fans but truth is that sound is kind of dated and has had its time in COC. To me this band really needs Pepper more then anything else. He just rounds out the band so much better. He brings a much more groove oriented sound to the band along with an expanded sound for the band. I can listen to alot of the stuff he did with COC and it still holds its own in todays scene.

I don't know, but what I've heard from the new stuff it just seems off. It's not bad but at the same time its just missing something.

I thought it was Pepper that didn't want to do anything with CoC, but in a interview i seen recently Pepper was asked about CoC and he said he was waiting for phone call it never came.

The trio played my hicktown couple months ago and maybe 100 people were there.

No PJK = No CoC
