ANTHRAX will headline the third annual Metal Alliance Tour, set to kick off in March and run through the month of April. The band will perform its fan-favorite 1987 album "Among The Living" in its entirety during the trek, which will feature support from EXODUS, MUNICIPAL WASTE, HOLY GRAIL and a couple of additional bands, to be announced at a later date.

Adds ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian: "Holy crap am I so excited about this year's Metal Alliance Tour!

"It's been a great year and a half for us since 'Worship Music' came out and to cap it off with a Grammy nomination.

"This is such a perfect lineup. To make this tour even more special, we will be playing our 'Among The Living' record in its entirety. I can't wait to play 'Horror Of It All'!

ANTHRAX recently spent time in the studio recording several cover versions of some of their favorite rock classics, to be included with the upcoming re-release of the band's latest album, "Worship Music".

In addition to RUSH ("Anthem") and BOSTON ("Smokin'") covers, ANTHRAX is also recording its versions of AC/DC's "T.N.T.", JOURNEY's "Keep On Runnin'" and BLACK SABBATH's "Neon Knights". The latter song is expected to appear on the upcoming Ronnie James Dio tribute album which is being assembled by the singer's widow and longtime manager Wendy Dio.

"Worship Music" has sold more than 100,000 copies in the U.S. since its September 2011 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Anthrax go out in the USA it's playing smaller and smaller venues. All this reunion bullshit and they're still a House Of Blues band? The same places they've been playing for a decade and a half. It's either over for them or they're milking the market?

ps: who is playing guitar for EXODUS?

pps: who will drum for Anthrax?

ppps: didn't I see Anthrax do "ATL" live back in 2006?

This is gonna be a amazing and killer tour! I can not wait. But Anthrax has played a smart move by performing all of ATL. That is about the only way they could survive coming on after the almighty Exodus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This would be sweet - if they got John Bush and played "Sound of White Noise" in its entirety during the trek.

This tour won't be successful. Most Anthrax fans don't listen to the other bands, and Anthrax just do a greatest hits setlist. It's their third run for the "Worship Music" tour.

i love Anthrax but can't bands please stop this BS of playing the whole entire album? don't they know how played out this is? it's cool for a concept album or Raining Blood which is less then 30 minutes long so they have plenty of time to play more songs.

I think its great when they play an entire album because you get to hear rarel;y performed tracks that are often better than many of the more popular songs.

I can't understand how any Anthrax fan wouldn't be pumped to hear The Horror of It All and Imitation of Life. A bunch of little poser boys who are worried Anti-Social might get dropped from the setlist.

I'd LOVE to go to this show... only if the Anthrax and Exodus lineups will be intact.

Not sure about Holy Grail.

And there's a great chance that Municipal Waste will steal the show!

There will be a date in Worcester, MA at the Palladium on either April 19th or 21st, to coincide with the New England Metal & Hardcore Festival.

Im sick of the Palladium. SIck of the 45 minute drive plus tolls from Boston. Sick of complaining..

they really should play house of blues in Boston. Lamb of God has been there 2x. Rob Zombie played there. Hell even Anvil played there although they hardly packed the place out like LoG or Zombie did. But I digress.. my position is.. book the tour into the House of Blues/Boston!

Funny that they're playing Bogarts, in Cincinnati. I saw them there on the Among the Living tour in 87 with Metal Church opening up. 26 years later and they're playing the same club.

Bring back Spitz!

I hope Exodus has a decent lineup.

Saw Anthrax last year at House Of Blues in Orlando with Testament and Death Angel, and they were fantastic. Didn't expect to get another chance to see them so close to home this soon, but I will definitely be there.

The ATL gimmick is cool. since it means a different setlist than last year. That said, I hope they are getting a decent about of stage time so we get at least 5-6 other tunes as well. No disrespect to the other bands but I am paying to see Anthrax and Exodus.

Anthrax is played out in my opinion. Once upon a time I was all over this band but the last few times I have seen them they just didnt do anything for me. There a wash...... plain and simple.

Exodus and Municipal Waste is enough for me to go.
