DEF LEPPARD Releases 'Acoustic Medley' Via iTunes; Audio Stream Available - Dec. 18, 2012
DEF LEPPARD has released a special medley of acoustic versions of songs that were performed during the band's 2012 live shows. The seven-and-a-half-minute medley, which is available exclusively on iTunes starting today, includes snippets of the following tracks:

* "Where Does Love Go When It Dies"
* "Now"
* "When Love and Hate Collide"
* "Have You Ever Needed Someone So Bad"
* "Two Steps Behind"

"We decided to change the acoustic section of the set for the Rock Of Ages tour, and what we ended up with just grew into a really magical experience every night," DEF LEPPARD singer Joe Elliott told AOL's Noisecreep. "We all enjoyed doing it so much and it was so well received by our audience, we decided to do a studio recording of it. I think it complements our main body of work very well."

You can now stream the medley below (courtesy of AOL's Noisecreep).

DEF LEPPARD will play its 1987 album "Hysteria" in its entirety as part of the Las Vegas residency, which is scheduled to kick off at the end of March.

Viva Hysteria! follows Hard Rock residencies from MÖTLEY CRÜE and GUNS N' ROSES.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $49.50, with floor seats going for $125.

They have not done anything good since Pyromania. First two albums were good too. Great sound on them.

... I like the medley, but this could also be a smart marketing move, pairing up three lesser known songs with two huge hits. Might get fans to check out their catalog.... well, if they could actually download it, anyway.

Saw them do this live in Denver. As a hardcore fan it was fucking awesome to hear "Where Does Love Go When It Dies" and "Now"

The Promoters asked them to play Hysteria Live in Las Vegas. The band was prepared to play Pyromania or HnD but the Majority of fans wanted Hysteria for the vegas shows. That doesn't mean they won't play Pyromania in the future if all goes well with these Vegas shows.

The band still sounds great live after 35 years
