INTEGRITY Signs With INDIE RECORDINGS - Dec. 13, 2012
Indie Recordings has announced the signing of INTEGRITY, the metallic hardcore band originally from Cleveland, Ohio that formed in 1988. The group will release a new seven-inh single, "Black Heksen Rise", on February 8 in Norway, Germany and Austria and February 12 in the rest of Europe. Limited to 500 copies of colored vinyl (100 gray, 200 white and 200 black), the single cover has a UV skull print and and it contains a four-page lyric sheet.

The tracks on "Black Heksen Rise" were previously released but have since been remastered. Both compositions see INTEGRITY's trademark sound permeated by somewhat more of a blackened Japanese metal punk influence through raw, driving power chords; explosive solos and crazy tapping runs; pounding midpaced breaks with just the right amount of eerie melody.

"Black Heksen Rise" is a part of the Indie Recordings seven-inch collectors series.

Pre-order "Black Heksen Rise" at this location.

INTEGRITY, which currently consists of Dwid Hellion and Robert Orr, has been ravaging the underground scene since the early '90s and has no plans to stop.

INTEGRITY will release a new full-length album in May 2013.

Wow, they are still going? Heard of them looong ago but never checked them out until today. My loss, I guess. Dig the Godflesh-style vocals mixed with melodic guitars (reminding me of early Katatonia). Good stuff!
