ANTHRAX: New Video Interview With ROB CAGGIANO - Dec. 12, 2012
Holland's FaceCulture recently conducted an interview with ANTHRAX guitarist Rob Caggiano. You can now watch the chat in two parts below.

ANTHRAX's "I'm Alive" received a Grammy nomination last week for "Best Rock/Metal Performance", more than a year after the track's September 13, 2011 release on the band's critical smash, "Worship Music", which was named was of the best metal albums of 2011 by numerous media outlets, and provided the band with the rock 'n' roll comeback story of the year. This is the fourth Grammy nomination for ANTHRAXCharlie Benante on drums, Scott Ian and Rob Caggiano on guitars, Frank Bello on bass, Joey Belladonna on vocals.

ANTHRAX recently spent time in the studio recording several cover versions of some of their favorite rock classics, to be included with the upcoming re-release of the band's latest album, "Worship Music".

In addition to RUSH ("Anthem") and BOSTON ("Smokin'") covers, ANTHRAX is also recording its versions of AC/DC's "T.N.T.", JOURNEY's "Keep On Runnin'" and BLACK SABBATH's "Neon Knights". The latter song is expected to appear on the upcoming Ronnie James Dio tribute album which is being assembled by the singer's widow and longtime manager Wendy Dio.

"Worship Music" has sold more than 100,000 copies in the U.S. since its September 2011 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Bring back Dan Spitz. He is a much better guitarist anyway.

This guy fits into Anthrax about as good as Robert Trujillo does in Metallica. And lose that stupid-ass hat. You look like a douche.

This guy is worth his weight in gold to Anthrax.

His solos don't have that playful edge that set Dan Spitz apart from everyone else but then, no one's did.

Where Caggiano is special is that he's also a great producer. The stuff they've recorded with him has sounded great.

Its like telling Slash to lose the tophat. Irrelevant. Rob is a shredder. I'm glad Anthrax is still in the game. This last album was great.

For once here's an interviewer with good question and we get a musician having a hard time answering them properly. You should never look bored out of your mind, especially when someone comes up with deep questions and shows interest in your band.

Drop the beanie!

No Jason Rosenfeld = No Anthrax

Scott just could live with the fact that his brother totally outshined him in the band.

no Rob Caggiano.

his beanie is perhaps the most ridiculous-looking piece of outerwear in all of metal, with, perhaps, the exception of the Manowar loincloths.

perhaps.

What is this - a metal site, or a site for fashion fucking wannabies caring more about what a guy wears than music??

Get a fucking life.......
