WITHIN TEMPTATION's Cover Version Of ADELE's 'Skyfall' Available For Streaming - Dec. 7, 2012
WITHIN TEMPTATION's cover version of "Skyfall", ADELE's official theme song to the James Bond film of the same name, can be streamed in the YouTube clip below.

WITHIN TEMPTATON has been revealing a unique cover every week on Q-Music in anticipation of the Dutch symphonic metal band's 15th-anniversary concert, which took place on November 13 at Sportpaleis in Antwerp, Belgium. The group stated, "We figured this would be a great occasion to do something special for [the fans]. It will be a musical adventure as we are covering songs that are very close to us but also songs that are not close to us at all."

The following tracks have already been released:

* Paradise (COLDPLAY)
* Grenade (BRUNO MARS)
* Crazy (GNARLS BARKLEY)
* Somebody That I Used To Know (GOTYE)
* Dirty Dancer (ENRIQUE IGLESIAS)
* Behind Blue Eyes (THE WHO)
* Summertime Sadness (LANA DEL REY)
* Apologize (ONE REPUBLIC)
* Don't You Worry Child (SWEDISH HOUSE MAFIA)
* Little Lion Man (MUMFORD & SONS)
* Skyfall (ADELE)
* Radioactive (IMAGINE DRAGONS)

WITHIN TEMPTATION's fifth studio album, "The Unforgiving", sold around 12,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 50 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released on March 29, 2011 the CD was produced by Daniel Gibson and is based on a comic book story written by script writer Steven O'Connell (BloodRayne, Dark 48). The band asked comic artist Romano Molenaar (Witchblade, Darkness, X-Men) to draw the characters and scenery of "The Unforgiving", which was made available via Sony Music in Continental Europe and Roadrunner Records in the U.S., U.K. and Ireland, Japan and Australia.

WITHIN TEMPTATION guitarist Robert Westerholt last year announced that he would step down from touring duties in order to focus on taking care of the three children he has with the band's lead singer, Sharon den Adel. His replacement on stage is Stefan Helleblad, who has been working with the band behind the scenes for a few years.

Anyone can sound great with ProTools.

BTW anything by Adele sucks (although Skyfall song was ok), and this cover is beyond horrible compared to the original.

The list of covers is abominable. Do they have the aspiration one day to be Katy Perry with distorted guitars?

Pretty solid. Thought I would like it a lot more than I did. She's got the fire but she's no Adelle.

Radio pop. Thumb it down all you want but they were so-called ''sell-outs'' before they started. Since their first album there isn't a day you can hear them on the radio in the Netherlands between every other shitty pop artist. Not even mentioning how much the singer with the big tits appears on every crappy television program.

And by the way, this is for the radio channel Q-Music. One of the worst radio channels you will ever hear! Trust me on this one.

q-music indeed sucks balls. along with mnm they're probably the most repetitive and crappy radio channel ever to have polluted the Belgian airwaves. tienduizend keer dezelfden brol per dag.

oh and fuck within temptation. they totally ruined a cool song (AGAIN) after their failed attempt to cover chris isaac (faster, my ass). by coincidence it's also adele's first song that i do like. and some stupid dutch wannabe gothic band makes a total cockrock snorefest out of it.

its the same boring song but at least they made it their own. if this song had been sung by someone other then Adele it wouldnt have made the charts but just because she's supposed to be cool right now it sell's well, but still Within Temptation is a good band if you like that kind of music

I'll always remember seeing them years ago when they were still doing those laughable "death" vocals. It was the first time I went to a metal gig with a choir of fat goth chicks behind me singing along the whole time and getting all emotional which made it feel more a Celine Dion gig. Lol

not that they ever had any "street cred" but...who are they trying to get to buy their album. Even though I've enjoyed some of WT's songs in the past the track listing alone makes me cringe. Seriously, I'm not even interested in listening to any of the songs from that album...but then again a friend of mine gave me a copy of WT's last album and I have yet to be in the mood or wahtever to want to get around and listen to that. Enrique Iglesias...umm seriously?!

I used to listen to WT the time when they were good. Mother Earth and Enter are very nice
