DON DOKKEN Interviewed On 'Maximum Threshold' (Audio) - Dec. 6, 2012
DOKKEN mainman Don Dokken was interviewed on this past week's edition of the "Maximum Threshold" radio show. You can now listen to the chat in the YouTube clip below.

DOKKEN's eleventh studio album, "Broken Bones", sold around 2,600 copies in the United States in its first week of release to land at position No. 173 on The Billboard 200 chart. Released in North America on September 25 via Frontiers Records, the effort was made available in two configurations: standard CD and limited-edition CD in digipak with a bonus DVD, which features a comprehensive "Making Of The Album" documentary.

"Broken Bones" was produced by DOKKEN frontman and namesake Don Dokken and was mixed by Bob St. John (EXTREME, DURAN DURAN, COLLECTIVE SOUL) and Wyn Davis (BLACK SABBATH, DIO, WHITESNAKE) and mastered by famed engineer Maor Appelbaum (HALFORD, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, SEPULTURA). The new set features a return to the band's signature sound of catchy melodies, hot riffs and monster production.

Like Broken Bones, the few rockers are exceptionally good and the rest is at least great Dokken.

Still waiting for Lynch to put something out that at the very least sounds like it should, but that has never happened.

Broken Bones is an amazing final record. Sucks that it will be their last. But hey, Don is gonna do an album w/ Michael Schenker. Cannot wait for that one.

I'm glad Broken Bones is getting good reviews, but I thought it was a pale imitation of the much better Lightning Strikes Again cd. I'd like to hear the songs they didn't put on BB as Don says they wrote 30 songs & picked 11 for the cd.
