Since the release of the band's debut album,
"Devil's Messenger", earlier this year, Riverside, California's
THE DEVASTATED has stayed busy on the road playing dates with
FEAR FACTORY,
SHADOWS FALL,
THE BROWNING and more. Now, the group has teamed up with
StuffYouWillHate.com to premiere a previously unreelased song,
"Grate Minds", recorded during the
"Devil's Messenger" sessions. Check it out using the

In other news,
THE DEVASTATED has announced the addition of bassist
David Sittig (
IMPENDING DOOM) to the group's ranks. The band states, "
David has been a close friend of ours for many years and we are proud to have him aboard."
Sittig will make his live debut with
THE DEVASTATED during the band's holiday mini-tour December 27-30 with
POLARIZATION and
WRATH OF VESUVIUS.
"Devil's Messenger" featured a guest appearance by
SUICIDE SILENCE frontman
Mitch Lucker in the song
"Spit Vitriol".
