Female Death Metal Singer Performs SYBREED Song On 'France's Got Talent' (Video) - Nov. 27, 2012

Video footage of 24-year-old French female death metal singer Rachel Aspe performing the SYBREED song "Emma-0" on the November 20 episode of "La France À Un Incroyable Talent", the French reality television series which is part of the global British "Got Talent" franchise, can be seen below. The clip has since become an Internet hit, racking up more than 50,000 views on YouTube.

Aspe, a member of the melodic death metal band DIVIDEAD, made a guest appearance on the latest KERÍON CD entitled "Cloudriders" on the track "Fireblast". The official video for the song, which features Rachel, can be seen below. Also available is Rachel's "vocal cover" of the SOILWORK track "Nerve".

I don't understand a word of french, but I can guess what the judges thought.

Metal, that is, extreme metal, doesn't belong in the mainstream.

If you take it to the mainstream, it will die.

This is nothing more than a scripted performance so that the fat, the ugly and the weak can make fun of us! This has no business on this show! I'm not into death metal at all but it is still metal and its like, make fun of one of us then you have just offended all of us! I mean, what makes that fake ass Andy Warhol any better. This is why metal hates the mainstream. You get a boy with a girls haircut singing like his nuts are being crushed and the world loves him and gives him millions of dollars but this chick sings death and they laugh at her. This is what makes metal listeners so elitist! I saw one fat ass in particular laughing and thought this is probably the one time that you will see this chick without food going into her mouth. This is very offensive to me.

Her performance isn't that great...at all...

She sounds self-taught. Her clip of "Nerve" is nothing more than glorified karaoke...

Her band - Dividead - comes from a Japanese Henti game.

Everything about this screams "novelty"...But because she has tits, every metal head will be ooooh'ing and ahhhh'ing all over her.
