GUNS N' ROSES Joined By IZZY STRADLIN On Stage At Final Concerts Of Las Vegas Residency (Video) - Nov. 26, 2012
GUNS N' ROSES launched its first-ever Las Vegas residency on October 31 when the band played the first of 12 shows at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The "Appetite For Democracy" lasted through this past Saturday, November 24, with the band playing a setlist exclusively created for these shows.

The concerts featured the current lineup of the band, of which singer Axl Rose is the only original member.

Fan-filmed video footage of GUNS N' ROSES' final two Joint performances (on November 23 and November 24) — featuring a guest appearance by the band's former guitarist, Izzy Stradlin — can be seen below.

Both Izzy and Rose skipped the band's April 2012 induction into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame.

Stradlin issued a statement the week before the induction, thanking his bandmates, the Hall Of Fame for "the acknowledgment of our works over the years," and the fans who "have supported GUNS N' ROSES from day one."

According to a posting on GUNS N' ROSES' official Twitter, the November 21 performance at the Joint was filmed in 3D, presumably for future release.

GUNS N' ROSES drew criticism earlier in the month from Clark County commissioners after they were told about an ad for the group's Vegas concerts which depicts what appears to be a sexually assaulted woman beneath the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

The image, which is said to be a watered-down version of the banned cover for the band's classic 1987 debut, "Appetite For Destruction", was being used in mainstream advertising, including newspaper promotions and taxicab placards.

Izzy, not a helluva player but solid enough to join GNR.
Good thing about him is that he Knows his place, contrary to hakk slash who desperately tries to achieve and maintsin a legendary status.
Lost on both counts hack!

So:
FUKK HAKK SLASH, MUFFMEISTER MCLOAD, JUNKIE ADLER & ASSKISSER RIOTACT.

AXL=GNR!!!
AXL=GOD!!!

Never really liked "41 yrs" till I saw Izzy do it on his own.

Very nice combo on the chorus as well.

Izzy still has the exact look from back then. Class all the way!

If I could choose one past member to rejoin GN'R, it would be Izzy. Above Slash, above Duff, above Matt, above Adler, and even above the legendary Paul Tobias.

But, in all seriousness, I don't really care about former members rejoining the band, and I wish everybody would stop actually going on about it.

That he did. He didn't even do his usual corner-cutting on the bridge, to my surprise.

solid player, and he knew how to play off Slash.

His first two solo albums are really good too, esp the first one.

So cool to see Izzy pop up here and there to play with Axl and the Band.
Nice to see Guns N Roses have a successful Vegas residency...and next is Japan and India next month.

GNR IS ONE OF THE HARDEST WORKING TOURING HARD ROCK BANDS OUT THERE RIGHT NOW - 3 hour shows every night - The hits just keep on comin' one right after another.

Nice poster from the Hard Rock. Big picture of Axl's face, nothing else. That says it all. Why not put the drummer, 2nd keyboardist and 3rd guitarist on the poster instead? Because no one know's what they look like and couldn't care less.

Yeah right, as if Izzy Stradlin of all people gives a flying fuck about "Pub". I know your still pissed he didn't join your favorite corporate whores at the HOF, but like Axl, he has something called integrity.

Laggerlugger, you didn't get enough love as a child. one of their worst songs? you'd prefer Nov. Rain I guess. (coming from a guy that loves Loverboy). ..This is a great rock n roll song. The other part of GnR that made them great...Pub. Izzy couldn't be further from the limelight. He walked away from it...performance sounds good to me.

I love the "izzy's not a great player but solid". like making music is about being flashy and guitar gymnastics. he was a straight up rhythm guitarist with a pension for writing good tunes. What this band(or Axl) could use now actually.

Considering that GnR has only put out one new record over the past 20 years, and it flopped, selling 9K+ a show for two week is pretty damn good....

I was always under the impression that when you own something, it's yours. Axl owns GN'R and so therefore, it is his. People may not like the fact that he carries the name GN'R but they need to seriously get over it. If it pisses people off that bad here's and idea. Put your pennies together, go buy the band from Axl, and call it whatever the fuck you want. Until then...

Resentment: The number one offender! Like attempting to poison a person by taking it yourself.

This is not 1989, they are not the original, however, I went to this show & it was a fine rock and roll show that I enjoyed with my daughter. If you are so pathetic that you need to spend your day flaming artists on the web you really need to rethink your life.

We aren't pathetic this IS Blabbermouth and that's what we do here. CALL EM AS WE SEE EM

Whether is Geoff Taint or The Axl Rose Band.

I hope you explained to your daughter that she wasn't seeing the REAL Guns N Roses and this is "make believe" like Santa Claus.

exactly...I understand if you jump on a post of a band you could care less about and just say "they suck", but many were or are really into GnR and venting, or giving their opinion on the current state of the band, pro or con.

mr Dark1349throne, I think many ARE over it, well over it. unfortunately.
