GUNS N' ROSES: Last Night's Las Vegas Concert Filmed In 3D - Nov. 22, 2012
GUNS N' ROSES launched its first-ever residency on October 31 when the band played the first of 12 shows at the Joint in the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. The "Appetite For Democracy" run will last through Saturday, November 24, with the band playing a setlist exclusively created for these shows.

According to a posting on GUNS N' ROSES' official Twitter, last night's (Wednesday, November 21) performance at the Joint was filmed in 3D, presumably for future release.

The complete setlist for the concert can be found below (courtesy of Setlist.fm).

The shows feature the current lineup of the band, of which singer Axl Rose is the only original member.

GUNS N' ROSES drew criticism earlier in the month from Clark County commissioners after they were told about an ad for the group's Vegas concerts which depicts what appears to be a sexually assaulted woman beneath the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign.

The image, which is said to be a watered-down version of the banned cover for the band's classic 1987 debut, "Appetite For Destruction", was being used in mainstream advertising, including newspaper promotions and taxicab placards.

Most of the shit fired off in this band's direction would would die down if they would just drop the Guns N' Roses name. This is not Guns N' Roses by any stretch of the imagination.

Yeah - there are some stellar musicians in the ranks - no question about it. When the UYI tour finally came to an end, so too did Guns N' Roses.

One original member & a bunch of hired guns is not & will never be Guns & Roses. Drop the name already. Why people are supporting this is strange. No disrespect to the musicians in the band they do a great job it just has no soul in my opinion.

Would it be Led Zeppelin if Plant hired a bunch of hacks and went out on tour under the name of Led Zeppelin or Ozzy solo with three other musicians. No that wouldn't be Black Sabbath but Sharon would make sure it was.

They've played There Was a Time at a lot of these shows. Shame it got dropped here. Glad Catcher is getting played though. Two of the best songs of Chinese Democracy.

If they release this movie at theaters, it should start 3 hours late for added realism. If they release it as a DVD, it should have 3 hours of blank screen at the beginning.

Great Band & set list? I count 18 of 33 songs not written by the band on stage. I kindly disagree with the greatness of this line up of the band.

Interesting comment above about Robert Plant, and what if he fired everyone and hired 16 guys and still called it Led Zeppelin... Of course, that would be absurd.

I actually ran into Robert Plant here in NYC a few weeks ago (he was in town for the MOMA screening of the new Led Zep documentary). He was the most pleasant man... Seemed genuinely perplexed that I'd be so in awe of him. He shook my hand, we spoke a little bit, and that was it.

Experiences like that really put Axl Rose to shame in my mind. I still love AFD, but I'll never buy a ticket to his shows or buy his new music. Luckily, he'll never release another album again, so whatever.

How many of your precious bands go that hard.
Axl haters you're argument is the same. You all want Slash on guitar.
As long as you have the voice singing those familiar songs who gives a shit who's on guitar. I would like Izzy back in the fold.

Axl must get great satisfaction every time he reads the comment "OMG ITS NOT GUNS EN ROSES ITS AXELS SOLO PROJECT".

You'd think he'd be insulted, but fact is, he's been at this for, oh, sixteen or seventeen years now. People on the internet keep whining and crying, and Guns N' Roses are still touring.

I think he wins at this point.

PS

"The shows feature the current lineup of the band".

Wow, what an elegant statement, Blabbermouth! Thanks for clarifying it wasn't a future lineup taking place in the present.

Why people are surprised about the length of the setlist.
They've been averaging 3 hours a night for -years-
This lineup has been stellar touring and the Vegas numbers have been on par with Motley Crue's numbers, meaning GN'R with one original members sells as much as a fully original MC in the US (and buries them outside of it).

Once you get past the "wah it's not GN'R" argument which is so tired and old at this point... you realize Axl won years ago. He's touring and making a fuckton of cash doing it.

FYI Izzy is rumoured to be at the last few shows. He's played with the band a bunch of times over the years.

In regards to the comment above about Robert Plant and Axl Rose. You are so off. Axl lined everybody (50 fans) up after his shows and signed autographs and took pictures. IN THE FUCKING pouring rain. He actually thanked us for coming and asked if everything sounded ok. Pure class and very gracious.

If Robert Plant lines everybody up and does that after his show I will eat my own shit. I hear he's an ass for the most part and won't even sign shit anymore.

There Was A Time should be added to set and never taken out. Shocked they are playing the slower tracks and not Shackler's Revenge.

This band is no bullshit. Fuck the politics. It's not Ashba's fault but he seems to take a lot of heat. The dude's a great guitar player.

Quit calling JAMS songs. It's fucking filler. Drop the stupid fucking cover songs and play your own. This show really is only 2 hours after all the solos and pink floyd covers. This show can be perfect and they tweeked that set properly. We went and pissed or grabbed a beer anytime a cover came up. Sing your own fucking songs! GUNS has such a killer catalog to be fuckin' with other peoples shit.

Are the Stones and the Who playing covers? Even suck bag Aerosmith plays their own shit.

Its like KISS ....sum people dont give a damn whether its the real members or not but for people like me they stopped being Kiss when Frehley & Criss were replaced with imposters & GnR ended when Adler was booted for the symphonic back up musos....as for Kiss well, what they do is just musical prostitution.....truly over both these bands ...yeah they were great once but that wasa decade ago or more...anyway,theres plenty of new stuff out there to get into rather than has - been nostolgia acts..."Vegas... where your favorite bands go to die"....& 3 hours of Axls screeching??....what the hell did the audience do to deserve that??

Wouldn't want to go to this show, like 20 jams, Bumbleboy gets to play his solo song, WTH? Shackler's Revenge would be great to see, but once again, they aren't playing it.

I like both current GNR and VR, Loaded, Slash's solo material and Adler. Izzy's solo stuff is good, Gilby Clarke's solo stuff isn't bad either. No need to take sides.

And what that means today in 2012 is it's Axl Rose and a bunch of pretty fucking good musicians. Don't like it? Don't fucking go. I love AFD and still listen to it all the time, front to back. No, this isn't that band - but that band doesn't exist anymore. So - support it, don't support it. But quit whimpering like a school girl who went to the beach and got sand stuck in her pee hole about "It's not MY GNR". Trust me, no one gives a shit.
