KORN Guitarist Welcomes Baby Son - Nov. 7, 2012

KORN guitarist James "Munky" Shaffer and his wife Evis Xheneti (pictured below) welcomed their first child, D'Angelo Draxon Shaffer, today (Wednesday, November 7) at 8:44 a.m. He weighed in at eight pounds and three ounces.

The couple were engaged in May 2011 and married earlier this year in Paris.

Shaffer also has a daughter named Carmella Star from his first marriage.

The guitarist said in a recent interview that he was looking forward to becoming a dad again and told The Pulse Of Radio that he was inspired by ex-KORN guitarist Brian "Head" Welch and his daughter when they all got together in May. "His daughter is really — what a sweetheart," he said. "He's an amazing father. Like, I'm looking forward to being half that good as a father. I am a father, but I get another go at it."
