GUNS N' ROSES: 'Live In London' Big-Screen Event 'Postponed' By Management - Nov. 6, 2012
The big-screen premiere of GUNS N' ROSES' June 2012 performance at London, England's O2 Arena, which was scheduled for October 29 at select theaters in Europe, has been "postponed" by the band's management.

The news of the event's cancelation can be found by following the links below.

* Showcase Cinemas UK (United Kingdom)
* UCI Kinowelt (Germany)
* Finnkino (Finland)
* SIA Forum Cinemas (Latvia)

A trailer for the concert film, which promised to show the grand finale of the band's U.K. tour in "stunning" HD quality and Surround Sound, can be seen below.

GUNS N' ROSES launched its first-ever residency in Las Vegas on October 31 at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino. Each night, the band is performing an electrifying show featuring a setlist created exclusively for The Joint. Appetite For Democracy spans the band's biggest hits from their debut album "Appetite For Destruction" (1987) through their platinum-selling record "Chinese Democracy" (2008).

No, 2 hours of nothing. Just sit in the theater and do nothing and wait until Axl feels like turning on the projector.

The Xhole Rose group will refuse to play of they feel their performance is nit at 100%.
Unlike hack slash, puffadler and mcmuffload who will play at any cost even if their performance sucks, which it does, more often than not.
Then again, our "legendary" hacks are satisfied playing to 100 people, family and friends included, ehile Xhole plays to tens of thousands at the same time.

That's why:
FUKK HAKK SLASH, MUFFMEISTER MCLOAD, JUNKIE ADLER & ASSKISSER RIOTACT.

Xhole=GNR!!!
Xhole=GOD!!!

last time I Slash and Myles Kennedy, which was only a month ago, they played to a packed 3,500 capacity ballroom in the heart of NYC...there were a bit more than 100 people there and the place was up and pumping for the entire 2 hours they were on stage

This just isn't GNR, no way , no how. Axl lacks the spine to go solo. It is what it is. Sad spiral.

Not sure it's a lack of spine, probably more about money. Slash solo seems to be more popular with people on the internet, but Axl still performs in the bigger arenas, and I personally think that is down to the name.

Guns n Rose would sell better than the Axl Rose Project or whatever it would be called.

Funny thing I read in this months Total Guitar magazine. DJ Ashba said something along the lines of he doesn't like to play other peoples songs. Think he might be in the wrong band in that case.

I feel sorry for Bumblefoot, he is a great musician and a really nice guy (i've met him a couple fo times). He seems frustrated with GnR in several of his latest interviews. Guess he must do it for the paycheck, hell I would to. Hope he doesn;t go off the radar when he eventually leaves.

And I need to rant about DJ Ashba. Has anyone here visited his website. For a guy that in all honestly hasn;t produced much music under his own name, he has a hell of a lot of merch available, and it is way way way overpriced. If he was more successfull I think he would match Gene Simmons.

Also it appears Showecase Cinemas (UK) customer service has sucked for people trying to get refunds.

Finally.........

ONLY GNR CAN CANCEL A GIG THEY HAVE ALREADY DONE!!!

I think that was the point BrewMe was trying to make. Axl doesn't have the spine to go out as AXL because he's afraid it wouldn't sell as much. Slap the name GNR and it multiplies the interested ten-fold. Let's see the most dangerous ginger in rock go outside the GNR name.

These days, most bands release concert films directly to Blu-Ray.
Why would anyone pay to see a screening of a cover band concert film in theaters? If Axl wants to release something that is theater worthy, why not allow the Perfect Crime 1991-1993 GN'R documentary to be screened around the world?
