AEROSMITH Members Perform At 'Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together' Benefit Concert (Video) - Nov. 3, 2012
AEROSMITH members Steven Tyler, Joe Perry and Brad Whitford took part in NBC's live benefit concert, "Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together", yesterday (Friday, November 2) at the New York studios of NBC at 30 Rockefeller Plaza. It aired live across the East Coast and tape-delayed on the West coast.

Hosted by NBC "Today" anchor Matt Lauer, the commercial-free telethon included an all-star rendition of "Under The Boardwalk" with Steven Tyler, Billy Joel and Bruce Springsteen, as well as a deeply emotional version of "Dream On", with Tyler sitting behind a piano.

Money collected will be donated to the American Red Cross relief efforts for Hurricane Sandy.

To make a donation, visit RedCross.org, call (800) RED-CROSS or text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 contribution to the cause.

As an NJ resident while I appreciate the effort and the fact that they tried to do something to help out, this should have been a concert on the scale of Paul McCartney's Concert for NYC after 911. This was a lame 1-hour TV special, the sound was horrible and the performers were phoning in their performances

Sorry to hear of all the damage, and a great effort from them.

"...as well as a deeply emotional version of "Dream On", with Tyler sitting behind a piano."

Thanks for telling me it was "deeply emotional", I never could have judged that on my own.

It seems like every year press releases get more and more obnoxious and condescending. Someone should bitchslap the fucking idiots who write this lowest common denominator bullshit!

FOR SOMETHING THAT WAS PROBABLY THROWN TOGETHER AT THE LAST MINUTE, THIS WAS PRETTY GODDAMN COOL.

I'M SURE SOMETHING BIGGER IS IN THE WORKS.
